An Application
ACT 4:32-35 is a wonderful account of the church being the church. Not that this is a command, it's a great example.
Connect the Dots
Compare ACT 5:4,9 to ISA 63:10 and EPH 4:30. Compare ACT 5:5,11 to EX 20:20, JER 32:40, LK 12:5, and REV 14:7. Later, God will not try to trick us with 1JN 4:18, and the Bible is not contradictory, the key is what you fear establishes the boundaries of your freedom. The fear God wants is an extreme form of respect and reverence, and a recognition of His greatness. Some fears God liberates us from are the oppressive debilitating fear of the unknown, or of worldly loss.
